The mysterious client of Nathan Crutch, they hired him to investigate the possible murder of Howard Thomas. She appears to have been taken by an unknown person.

A professor at the University of Toronto, he was found dead in his apartment at 200 Elm Place (apartment 12-A) by Nathan Crutch. He recently published a book entitled Amissus Societatis: Throughout the Ages.

The Characters Empty Mister Gray

A man who warned Nathan Crutch of the approach of the police. He wears a gray suit, glasses, and his eyes are pure black. The flesh on the inside of his mouth is also black. He appears to be interested in the case of Howard Thomas, but seems to be unable to interfere in any serious manner.
